About Me

Hi, I'm Sharon Ben-Moshe, the founder of The Aquarium Adviser. I've been in the fishkeeping hobby for more than 20 years, and I currently keep a 120-gallon freshwater tank and a 180-gallon saltwater reef tank at home.

Alongside this site, I run The Aquarium Adviser's Facebook group, a community of almost 30,000 fellow aquarium and pond keepers where we swap advice, troubleshoot problems, and share what's working in our own tanks.

How this content is made: Articles on this site are based on established aquarium and pond-keeping knowledge, my own 20+ years of hands-on experience, and contributions from Dr. Jessie Sanders, who assisted with some of the articles. Every article is reviewed before publication. Look for the updated date on each article to see when it was last substantively reviewed.
